Please help me here, I am now 2 months into this problem with no sign of a fix.
I attempted to download and install the advertised update of ZA free on my PC running Windows Vista Business (32BIT). Something went wrong with the installation of the update and I got a Truevector error. At this point I had no longer got a correctly working network adapter (Code 10 on the 6to4 Adapter in device manager). Connection to the internet was cut after about 5-10 minutes after rebooting, consistently. The only way to reconnect was to reboot. I tried to uninstall ZA but I got errors when trying to use the add/remove programs tool. So I followed the instructions here: http://server.iad.liveperson.net/hc/s-28464961/cmd/kbresource/kb-8504045674307009131/view_question!PAGETYPE?sq=27%2bstep&sf=101113& amp;sg=1&st=765723&documentid=344897&a ction=view, which seemed to successully clean all traces of ZA from my system. But now I have no connection to the internet at all. I can't even ping my ADSL router. I have a wireless network but the wireless adapter has never worked on this Vista PC so I am hard wired to the router.
I have tried enabling/disabling the various TCP/IP v4/v6 settings with no luck. Tried updating the driver for my network adapter, etc. I can't reinstall ZA because I can't get on the internet on that PC. Is there a standalone executable I can download on another PC and transfer to that one, to install ZA free? Seems the ONLY way anyone has got round this problem is to somehow reinstall ZA and then uninstall it properly. I would be very grateful for anyone's help on this.
