Default Have dial up.Can I load 80.059.000 from one machine to another machine by thumb drive?

My husband gave up his old Windows 98 and got a little emachine.
It came with trial of Norton with is fully uninstalled.
    I had a ZASS 2008 disc that I loaded with 7.0.362.000.
It did fine but when it fully updated then it locked up the whole machine when I tried to get on internet.
I uninstalled update and reinstalled the disc with 7.0.362.000.
I tried to update to 8.0.059.000
    but it wouldn't install.
I have dial up only and evidently it didn't download correctly after 14 hours.
I don't have access to DSL or highspeed.
I have 8.0.059.000 runing on the computer I use.
I wondered if I could transfer
8.0.059.00 to his from mine by thumb drive?

Yes, you can copy the installation ZASS over to the flash drive and use it elsewhere.
I'm not addressing licencing issues here, just the mechanics of the installation.
If in doubt, download the newest version
    http://download.zonealarm.com/bin/fr...seHistory.html
and you can move it to your heart's content.

Hello,Just want to add one more tidbit of info. While you might be able to do this ZoneAlarm does not provide any technical support for this type of instalation. So if you had a technical issue or question that didnt pertain to the thumbdrive you would not get support due to how it was installed. We currently dont have U3 thumbdrive version.Best regardsForum Moderator
