Default hellllllllllllllllllp Computer keeps crashing and i have done everything i can find in the posts

First off b4 I start bitc*ing (LOL) about this I would like to thank you for the years of safe service

I have done everything on the boards (clean install safe mode) and still my computer keeps crashing after the update. Well not a full crash it takes about 20 min to log out of things I need to or save something. this is what I keep getting

0x000000d1 (0xFAFF8056,0x00000002,0x00000000,0Xb08FB022)

Then I get this from Microsoft

Problem caused by antivirus or firewall program

You received this message because your antivirus or firewall program has caused a blue screen error, which means the computer has shut down abruptly to protect itself from potential data corruption or loss.

At this point I might not need a firewall as I just want to throw the computer out the window LOL

Thanks for any help you can give

Also is there a reason for the upgrade if I go back to the old one will be safe ?

Operating System:Windows XP Home Edition
Software Version:8.0
Product Name:ZoneAlarm (Free)

Well I just discovered I am having the same problem. I run fine in Safe Mode, but in full mode, it dies after about 20 minutes...

I saw there was an update... I'm using ZAISS, and I never installed the latest update, so will try to uninstall and reinstall... But I'm having other (hopefully unrelated) problems as well... can't seem to get that machine to connect to the net.

There are Over 60 Million Users of ZoneAlarm world Wide.. and Very Few People ever log onto a Support Forum to say how Great the Program is, This Forum exist to help the Few Users who encounter a problem and need to be guided in the right direction..

http://s118.photobucket.com/albums/o...h_1welcome.gif to the Zone Alarm User Forum..
It looks like your Have Corrupted your Installed ZA files..
The simplest procedure is to :
1.Download the Latest installer preferably with IE Browser and no Download Manager/accelerator like Get-Right, Livewire) ZAFree http://download.zonelabs.com/bin/fre...seHistory.htmlZAP http://download.zonealarm.com/bin/fr...seHistory.htmlZAAV http://download.zonealarm.com/bin/fr...seHistory.htmlZASS http://download.zonealarm.com/bin/fr...seHistory.htmlZAX http://download.zonelabs.com/bin/fre...seHistory.html

2. On your current ZA, UNcheck "Load ZA... at startup" (under Overview --> Preferences tab)
3. Reboot the Computer. So that vsmon.exe/TrueVector will be removed from Memory
4.) Now use the new ZoneAlarm Removal Tool: Click here > http://download.zonealarm.com/bin/fr...cpes_clean.exe
Save to desktop, right click and "run as administrator" This tool will remove all ZoneAlarm products from your system.

Please just download and run the tool, following the instructions.
(you can un-install without net connections)
5.) Install the new update (clean or upgrade) and Accept the default Setting, Auto-Learn Mode and Choose Trusted Zone, not Internet Zone..
Please note that ZASS and ZAXdo not play nice with many overlapping security tools (even if disabled).
To troubleshoot ZASS/ZAX issues remove them and install back once you see that ZA works as it should.
For example,Norton/Symantec, McAfee,Spyspweeper, Spyware Doctor, trojan hunter, adware, SpyBotS&D, PC tools Threatfire, otherantivirus, antispyware, Registry Guard or locking tools, etc...
