Thread: 8.0.298 does not accept my license key

    Default 8.0.298 does not accept my license key

    Have updated ZA from to 8.0.298, but the new one does not accept my lisence key. did accept. ZA web page to check the validity says it is valid.

    How can I resolve this problem?

    Hi!remove your current ZA with /rmlicense switch. This will wipe out any corrupted license information. you still have problems contact ZA technical support at: or LIVE CHAT (see link in my signature) to check your license keyCheers,Fax

    Thanks, fax, but,,,
    Followed the instruction on the web page you mentioned. /rmlisence was added
    as the parameter.
    Erased all folders related. Additionary, I have erased registry entries
    regarding "zonelab".

    The key is still rejected.

    One thing I noticed, and different from 8.0059, is that the window of key request
    dialog is in Japanese. (I ran Japanese version of XP) The update file is
    English version (zaSuiteSetup_80_298_000_en.exe)

    I will contact ZA Tech Support. Thanks anyway.

    Default Correction

    Correction to previous msg: 8.0059 also displays in Japanese for key entry window.
