    Default ZoneAlarm hangs Vista 64bit

I'm having a severe problem with my Windows Vista 64bit setup.
It seems to hang several times a day, and it is visible e.g. so that Firefox no longer loads any pages (it just does not get any replies). Also when I close Firefox it does not fully close but remains in the process listing and even killing it does nothing.
Also other network programs seem to be failing to get to internet, such as Internet Explorer and Spotify.

I suspect that it is ZoneAlarm that causes this, since everything worked OK when I used **bleep** Firewall. The freezes started after I switched to use ZoneAlarm.

    Here's my setup:
    -Windows Vista SP1 64bit
    -ZoneAlarm 8.0.298.000
    -Firefox 3.0.8
    -**bleep** Antivirus Home Edition 4.8.1335

Please help me on this. Otherwise I'll have to revert back to using **bleep**. I'd rather use ZoneAlarm since its more usable than **bleep**..

    Operating System:Windows Vista 64 bit
    Software Version:8.0
    Product Name:ZoneAlarm (Free)
