Last wed (15 Apr), I accepted the various Windows updates and subsequently the ZA update (I was on, running under Vista Ultimate). After that,a) my ACT database reported it was corruptb) Outlook hung upc) my whole PC seized up and I had to do a hard rebootNaturally I blamed it all on the Windows update, and after much aggravation and failed safe boots etc, managed to disengage ACT & Outlook, and went back to the system restore. Resisted all pleas fromWindows Update to install the patches, but yesterday I did re-install the ZA update.
Yet again, Outlook and then my whole PC just stopped. In the end, after failed restarts/safe boots etc, I restored the PC to where it was last Wed before all the updates.
Is anyone else having problems with the latest ZA update? (which says it is to help deal with Conficker)
