Default ZASS v8.x and Windows System Restore

Trying to troubleshoot another problem in Windows and System Restore doesn't work.
I get the error message from System Restore:
"Restoration Incomplete...No changes have been made to your computer."

Now, I found this message about a problem with ZASS 8.0.059.000 and System Restore:
    http://forum.zonelabs.org/zonelabs/b...ssage.id=54279

Is there any solution or workaround or update for this problem?

    Thanks,
    Dave

    Hi Fax,

Thanks for the link, apparently SR works with ZASS 8.x if SR is purged and cleaned. However, Charles_B's method can't show if ZASS 8.x is or is not the cause of the SR corruption in the first place?

I will clean up System Restore once I can solve a separate problem of ZASS 8.x. But for now, I need to access earlier restore points not purge them. Fortunately, I was able to use SR by booting into Safe Mode to get to that earlier point.

One of the Major Problems with Windows Restore points..Is that The Restore points can:1.) Be corrupted..2.) can Include Corrupted files from prrvious Istalls..3.) if your Computer was Infected with Malware or Viruses and a Restore Point created, it will include the Mailware or Virus, and even if your Computer is Cleaned and Virus Free, once you Restore from an infected Restore point, you have Re-infected your computer..--------------------------------------------------------
