I thank you for the information on the registry entries that need to be deleted - however, I have no idea how to access and delete registry entries-
From the DOS prompt I can enter a REG command
-- but I do not see any command to delete a file.
If windows Vista has a registry editor of some sort, that would be most handy - as there most likely must be hundreds and hundreds of entries considering the number of programs I have installed.
Otherwise I'm baffled as to how to get rid of these programs to get the product working.
I deleted one folder containing one of those files as someone suggested in another post, and was able to get an installation of the extreme suite.
However, now it simply locks up at 99 percent scan and the program cannot be closed, even though I click on close button or pause/resume button.
I have to restart the computer to get control of windows back.
(I purchased the 3 serial number set) for 3 computers :
one runs vista the other two run XP sp2 - completely updated.

    thank you_daniel
