Hi!yes, there are problems... this is not only with one care but with any overlapping active security tool.Piling up more 'on access' security tools does not mean more security but generally more conflicts, applications fighting behind the scenewith the end result ofless securityIf you want to install ZASS please remove other security tools. Oncecare has a specific uninstall tool:http://social.microsoft.com/Forums/e...d-d261e3965943Check with the utility below you have really removed everything:http://www.appremover.com/Cheers,Fax

Which product would be the best way to go? OneCare is very user unfriendly but free to me. That is to say, you have little control. ZoneAlarm is just the opposite, but you have to be a guru or study up continually it seems? However, I really like the control I have over it and my programs.

Hi!if you are happy with OneCare, stay with it... or move to the new free MS antivirus (currently in beta).Otherwise remove OneCare and trial ZA Suite. Leave it at default and you will need to do very little.Cheers,Fax

Here is a small test review from pcmag.com - click here > http://www.pcmag.com/article2/0,2817,2348996,00.asp
. According this article..."The download is pretty small (about 7MB), and the installation is fast. But the mandatory download of updated signatures tried my patience: It took anywhere from 5 to 15 minutes. Also, the full installation occupied over 110MB of disk space"...

Just One, Not Two -- Never use two anti-virus products at the same time. Completely uninstall one before installing another. Use the vendor's uninstall utility/ 'removal tool'
or if not available, use the Windows XP add/remove software tool in the control panel.
