Default Windows Explorer, AcctMgr.exe, DPAgnt.exe and ZoneAlarm

    Hi,

Does anybody know why these 3 programs (Windows Explorer, AcctMgr.exe and DPAgnt.exe) always try to access to the internet? I always get alerts from ZoneAlarm that they always try to connect to the Net when I launch Internet Explorer. Specially Windows Explorer, if I click on "Deny", I get an error message and no program works until I remove it from the ZoneAlarm list.

    Thanks for you help.

    Operating System:Windows XP Pro
    Product Name:ZoneAlarm Pro

AcctMgr.exe is a part of Norton systemworks suite and is responisble for handling passwords on your computer. Do you have Norton?

DPAgnt.exe is a process belonging to DigitalPersona's range of Windows security products.

As for WE accessing the internet, have a look here:

My system frequently tries to access when Microsoft messenger is trying to launch. Even when Messenger is disabled it tries to seek upgrades. For me this is not an issue of concern. Regards.
