Default ZoneAlarm Blocks Free Download Manager

I used to use DAP and it worked fine, but then I switched to Free Download Manager. Every time I try to download something, Free Download Manager keeps saying "Cannot connect to server," without ZA even asking me if I want it to connect to the internet, it just blocks it. I checked Program Control and everything is fine: Trust Level is set to Ask, and also Access and Server settings are set to Ask. When I shutdown ZA and try downloading with Free Download Manager, it works just fine. Why is this happening and what can I do to fix it?

    Operating System:Windows XP Pro
    Product Name:ZoneAlarm Internet Security Suite
    Software Version:6.0

Try setting your level of trust to trusted and your access level to allow (green checks). You can probably set the server setting to red X level. Practically no program requires server rights and allowing server rights
    can affect performance speed.
