    Default Before even Starting

Before even starting hes giving me this error:

She's not always apearing: he is the only program that runs at Windows 98 SE StartUp.
The error, when apears, is always the same. Please take care of this problem that apears
on the next version of Zone Alarm!! And do not forget of those that use "OLDIES BUT GOODIES"
like me & Windows 98 SE!!

    Operating System:Windows 98-SE (Second Edition)
    Product Name:ZoneAlarm Internet Security Suite
    Software Version:3.x

I'm not sure what all those codes mean, but often an uninstall of Zone Alarm followed by a fresh install will fix the problem. Are you really using ZA 3.0?

3.0 ... What version of Zone Alarm is that?? When I downloaded it the Setup tell me that he is ver. 6.08.737 or something like that. From where do I find the version of my ZA?? Oh, and the reinstall does not work. Even after an format it does the same error and the same letters and numbers.

sorry for the writing but I don't know very well English!!

The reason I asked about Zone Alarm 3.0 is because that is what you put in your first post as the one you are using. That version is about 4 years old; you have the correct version. If you have Zone Alarm installed now, then uninstall it this way. Go into the start menu locate the zonelabs entry and right click on the uninstaller and select properties. Now in the target box you must add a space and then /clean to the end so that it looks something like this "C:\Program Files\Zone Labs\ZoneAlarm\zauninst.exe" /clean click apply and then OK. Next open ZA and turn off the load on boot option, then reboot and then run the uninstaller. This should get rid of all of ZoneAlarm. Now go to your windows temp folder and delete everything. Find the folder named Internet logs and delete it then empty your recycle bin.

Now try to install a fresh copy by downloaded the file from the Zone Labs site. BTW, your English is just fine.

I've done that, just as you tell me and after some starts (3-4), both Auto-With Windows and Manual it appeared (the error).
Can this be rezolved with a new ZA upgrade?!?
I can live with this error but I wanted to rezolve the problem. It can be a bug or something??!?

I'm not at all sure an upgrade will solve the problem, but it shouldn't hurt and might fix it. Try downloading and saving (not run) the ZASS 6.1.737.000 here . Now uncheck the 'Load ZASS at Startup' in your Overview > Preferences tab, reboot, then run the upgrade installation you just saved.

If that doesn't help, I'd suggest you contact the technicians at Zone Labs Technical Support . It usually takes 24 to 48 hours for them to respond.
