    Default ZA Lock not engaging

    I have had ZA on my machine for years, running 6.1.737.000 now.I always keep the lock set to engage after 15 minuted of inactivity.It's a pain but I regard it as a price I pay for relative security.Lately it has not been engaging at all.I tried resetting it to 14 minutes. That didn't work.Is this a bug?How can I get it back working?

    Hi pderas,







    A database reset will fix the problem if Zone Alarm is the problem in the first place. Reset the database this way; you will lose your customizations and will need to reconfigure Zone Alarm.

    1. Boot your computer into the Safe Mode. {Instructions if needed}
    2. Navigate to the c:\windows\internet logs folder.
    3. Delete the backup.rdb and iamdb.rdb files in the folder.
    4.Reboot into the normal mode.






    Hopefully this will solve your problem, if not PLEASE post back.
