    Default Showing net activity?

I recently started using ZA again after a hiatus of a few years. One of the features I really liked about ZA when I used it before was the way it showed what applications were hitting the net. E.g. the icons in the "Programs" area at the top of the window would flash if the corresponding program was currently uploading or downloading.

My new install of ZA (free version, 6.1.744.001) doesn't do that -- at least, not very well. The Programs area shows only 4 icons: a server app, Services and Controller app, my emailer (Pegasus), and ZA itself. If I check my email, the Pegasus icon flashes. If I browse in Firefox or use any of several other apps, the Services & Controller app blinks. Furthermore, I've had times when the ZA desktray icon shows traffic, but no icons are flashing. (And that is the most important use of this feature -- finding out what app is unexpectedly hitting the net.) What does it take to get this working like it used to?

    Operating System:
    Windows 2000 Pro
    Product Name:
    ZoneAlarm (Free)
