    Default System Stand-by Not Working

I just installed ZoneAlarm 6.5 onto my system and so far there's only one issue. I prefer my computer to go on a system stand-by if I'm away after 20 minutes. Since installing ZoneAlarm 6.5 my system no longer goes to stand-by. Screen saver works like it's supposed to but not the stand-by. Any thoughts? Thanks.

    Operating System:Windows XP Home Edition
    Product Name:ZoneAlarm (Free)
    Software Version:6.5

Hi and welcome to the Zone Alarm Users Forum

It is either a Windows issue or a Zone Alarm issue.
The Zone Aalrm database maybe corrupted.
To remove any the database in the Zone Alarm and fix it's issues, start in the Safe Mode and delete the IAMDB.RDB and the BACKUP.RDB files in the Internet Logs of the WINDOWS Directory. Clean the Recycle Bin and use the Windows Disk Cleaner. Reboot. The ZA is now appearing as it was first installed and all data is completely gone. Try the Stand By now and see what happens.

    Hope this helps.
