    Default Wireless access

When I turn my computer on, I can surf the internet using Firefox.
If I leave the system on and inactive for a while(1Hr).
I either have to disable Zone Alarm or restart the computer.
    I get the message
    "Server not found"
    How do I fix it?

    Operating System:Windows XP Home Edition
    Product Name:ZoneAlarm (Free)
    Software Version:

Have you added your DHCP IP to your Trusted zone? In case you haven't and don't know how, follow these steps. Finding DNS and DCHP servers, etc

    1. Go to Run type in command , hit 'ok', and type ipconfig /all then press enter. In the returned data list will be a line DNS and DHCP Servers with the IP address(s) listed out to the side.
    2. In ZA on your machine on the Firewall>Zones tab click Add and then select IP Address. Make sure the Zone is set to Trusted.
    3. Click OK and then Apply and see if that works to fix it..

You must first type command in the 'Run' box and then type ipconfig/all in the black DOS window that opens. It sounds like you've tried to type ipconfig/all into the Run box.

Default Re: Wireless access with Belkin

Hi, im having the same issue, I love Zone Alarm, when I installed the belkin wireless router, I have no problem. Whilst using zone alarm I discovered the router would stop working, the router flashes the internet signal and I have to unplug and plug to make it work. If I dont use ZA and use windows firewall I never get any problems. I tried all that stuff, DHCP adding, DNS and even IP Range to the trusted zone of both wired computer and wireless laptop, I was using same ZA versions latest free ones. Could someone help me on this.
Also in zone alarm how do you configure the workgroups to be allowed for access, without ZA I access fine, with I get you are not allowed or whatever type of message.
    Please help, Thankyou very much.

Thanks, Bill. That seems to have cleared it up.
