    Default Cookie control

Every few days it seems like my browser setting for cookies gets messed up. I'll go to a site that says I have to enable cookies. But with privacy set to medium in IE (as always) and cookie control in the privacy/main tab of ZA set to medium, what's causing the change? And if cookies are already enabled what am I supposed to do?

    Operating System:Windows XP Home Edition
    Product Name:ZoneAlarm Pro
    Software Version:6.5

Are you cleaning your browser cache regularly? Are the problems you're seeing on the same site or different sites?

I notice it mostly with Google. I've got my search preferences set to open the results on a separate web page and give me 100
items (the default is to list the results on the same page and 10 items). Google keeps going back to the default. I know it has something to do with cookies because when I went to the preferences page to set them again, I got a warning to enable cookies. And I went to Mediacom's webpage and also got a message saying I had to enable cookies to use the page. The way I cleared this problem up was to exit ZA and reboot my computer (which I don't want to have to keep doing). I've also had some difficulty accessing my account on Netflix.I have the cache cleaner set to run every morning.

Try customizing the 'troubled' sites by adding them to your Site List. Go to your Zone Alarm Privacy > Site List, click on the 'add' button, enter the URL of a problem site, then click 'ok'. Now locate the site you just entered on the Site List, right click on it and select 'options'. Next go through all three tabs to uncheck everything and click 'apply' as you go through each tab. Now clean your browser cache and try the site again.

If I enable cookie control in ZASS, then I have many sites that do not display. SUch as when I go to www.weightwatchers.com, the site tells me I have an
outdated browser, but whrn cookie control is off, it works fine.
There is no problem with my system
    - I just
did a clean install of XP SP3, IE7, and ZASS.
    What's going on?
