    Default problems with network

If i shut ZA down on both my computers they will commuincate with each other. When i open ZA neither computer can comunicate. I have had them working before but i reinstalled Za on my computer and since then i have had this problem. I try to add the other computer to my firewall trusted and it says it can not find it. Also windows can not access the network?

First make sure the Windows Firewall is off. Are there any other firewalls installed and running or antivirus with web or network guards? You could list the other security application and this makes answer easier.

Second are the DNS and DHCP servers listed as Trusted in the Zones of the Firewall? See>

    1. Go to Run type in command, hit OK, and type ipconfig /all then press enter. In the returned data list will be a line DNS and DHCP Servers with the IP address(s) listed out to the side
    2. In ZA on your machine on the Firewall>Zones tab click Add and then select IP Address. Make sure the Zone is set to Trusted
    3. Click OK and then Apply for each one.
    4. The localhost or loopback must be listed as Trusted. It has the address of
5 The Generic Host Process or the svchost.exe listed in the Program list must have both Trusted and Internet access and it must have server rights for the Trusted Zone, but not the Internet Zone.

Thirdly which ZA version are you using? What Windows version are you using? Do you have a router? What are the other security application being used?

    Best regards.
