Default problem with zonealarm free and mirc

I have a problem with zonealarm free and mirc.
I allowed the mirc in the zonealarm free program control, but i always get this message from mirc:

    [09:45:17] * Connecting to irc.quakenet.org (6668)
    -
    [09:45:19] -irc.quakenet.org- [ Blocked by Zone Labs Security ]
    -
    [09:45:19] -irc.quakenet.org- [ Blocked by Zone Labs Security ]
    -
    [09:45:19] * Disconnected

What can i do with it?

I can use the last version zlsSetup_70_302_000_en

I think its just protecting you, mirc is full of all kinds of nasty stuff! Since when I scanned It was known to by a Nasty (Spyware/Virus).

There is nothing in Zone Alarm Free that should block MIRC. Did you give the ZASS version a test ride first by chance? In any event, reset your Zone Alarm database and see if that will fix it. Reset the database this way; you will lose your customizations and will need to reconfigure Zone Alarm.

    1. Boot your computer into the Safe Mode. {Instructions if needed}
    2. Navigate to the c:\windows\internet logs folder.
    3. Delete the backup.rdb and iamdb.rdb files in the folder.
    4.Reboot into the normal mode.

There is a setting in ZASS that will block MIRC if not set properly. My belief is that this setting is blocking your use of MIRC. I understand that you have Zone Alarm Free, but it comes loaded with ZASS which can be enabled by purchasing a license key. However, occasionally a ZASS function is enabled in Zone Alarm Free without your ability to disable it short of a database reset. You can either try the steps I suggested or revert back to the earlier version.

    I have the same problem...

Free ZoneAlarm version 7.0.302.000 blocks every kind of IRC client...

Looking at the ZA log files, it's saying IM Security is blocking access...

Like BillC has posted, we can't access this the proper settings...

I'm trying the database reset suggestion, having trouble deleting the backup files though.

Try deleting the files in safe mode

Ok, I managed to delete the files in safe mode (I had confused it with diagnostic mode, and it wasn't working)

    This doesn't fix it though...

IM Security is still blocking access.
