Default ZA caused my pc to crash

I have a Dell Inseron 9300 XPS2 an have recently had a blue screen error. I was able to reboot an use the comutor. Dell ran a crash analysis tool an etermined Zone Alarm caused the crash an ha me remove it. Question - is this common? Should I try ZA Free again?

    Operating System:Windows XP Home Edition
    Product Name:ZoneAlarm (Free)

DO you remember what version of ZA you were using, and what the stop code in the BSOD was?

I don't know the version #, but i'm 99% sure it was not the current version but the one prior. I did not upgrade over the last several months when the new version became available. The stop code was 0x000000xe. When Dell ram the crash analysis tool, the item the scan detected was vsdatant.sys by Zone Labs.

Not sure why it would happen. Try using the updated version.
