    Default IE Blocked

After updating Windows this morning, suddenly Internet Explorer is blocked by ZA. Should I be concerned? It had red
X's in each program control box.

    Operating System:Windows XP Home Edition
    Product Name:ZoneAlarm (Free)
    Software Version:7.0

Go to your Zone Alarm Program Control list, right click on the IE entry, then click to 'remove it. If you have any IE browsers open close them. Now open a new IE browser window and if you're asked, grant access and click the 'remember' box. You may not be asked depending on your selections when you installed Zone Alarm. You should now have access. IE should have green checks but only under the 'access' columns.

Thanks Bill, I did add the green checks so that I could have
internet access. But...I am wondering how they got that way all of a sudden? I have used ZA for years, and this has never happened. It appeared after updating Windows this morn.
So far IE was the only one affected

It could be the update to Windows changed IE enough that Zone Alarm thought it might be taken over by a virus or Trojan. When updates change a program enough Zone Alarm won't let it access until you grant access anew. It's one of the security features in your firewall.

That's good to know. Thanks for the reply.
