    Default Program Control duplication

I have often gone into the program control section and removed duplications found there keeping the latest entry found. I don't know if this is what I should be doing, nor why there is duplication in the first place. I don't put them in there, so I wonder why I have to be the one who removes them. Or even if I should be removing them at all. It would seem to me that writing code to automatically remove an old one when a new one is propagated would be a simple task for the coders to do. Anyone know the answer(s)?

Hi!Can you post an example of duplication? Is it about having 3 "microsoft outlook" entries or more having "windows service pack update" entries? The latter is normal and you can just ignore it... they don't harm your system nor ZA. And they are multiple because they are not referring to the same file. But if you don't like them you can select ('shift' for multiple selection) and remove them.Fax
