Default Error message when Eudora automatically checks e-mail

When I have Zone Alarm engaged, I receive an error message when my e-mail program, Eudora (6.2.5.6), automatically checks for e-mail messages at regular intervals. However, when I manually check for messages, messages are delivered without any difficulty. When Zone Alarm is not engaged, the automatic checks of my e-mail messages at regular intervals produces the messages without any problems. Would any of my settings on Zone Alarm affect this, and if so, how would I modify the setting to allow the automatic check to work properly?

    Operating System:Windows XP Home Edition
    Product Name:ZoneAlarm Anti-Spyware
    Software Version:6.1

What messages do you get and which program is generating them, ZA, Eudora or Windoze?

The error message is coming from Eudora. The only thing that appears is a choice to "show all errors" or "remove all errors". I always click on "remove all errors" and then retrieve the e-mail manually and everything is OK.
