    Default Third try for help-please-ZAP dumps IE

    Have two computers.
    Wife's computer has recently started closing Windows Internet Explorer the
    instant she entered our bank's URL.
    All other URLs work fine.
    My computer works fine for the bank's URL.
    I shut down her ZA, then
    entered the bank's URL
    and the
    page comes up normally.
    Everything works normally for her computer then.
    We're running Win XP Pro
    fully updated.
    She's running ZA
    Pro 7.0.462.0, and I'm running ZA Security Suite Ver 7.0.

    Any ideas how to iron out this wrinkle?

    Hi!

    either a problem with IE or ZA, to iron out ZA you have two main options:

    1. Turn OFF all privacy options in ZA, Go to ZA privacy control and turn OFF cookies control, ad-blocking and mobile control.
    Does it work now? If yes, there are some wrong settings attributed to the banking website(s).

    2. If the above does not work you can can simply restore ZA to factory settings.
    To do that you need to reset the ZA database (all ZA custom settings will be lost)

    This way:
    1.) Hold down the Ctrl and Shift keys together
    2.) Right click on the ZA icon near your clock
    3.) Choose 'Reset' from the box that comes up
    4.) Choose Yes on the Reset Settings dialog box
    5.) When prompted, choose OK to restart your system
    6.) Follow the on screen configuration prompts after reboot

    Last extreme measure if the above does not work is to CLEAN uninstall ZAPRO, this way:

    It could also be some conflicts or wrong interaction between ZAPRO and the antivirus tool installed on the machine. To test it just disable your AV before connecting to your home banking site to see it makes any difference.
