Since installing ZASS, my PC does not always shut down properly.
It shuts down as far as the Windows is shutting down screen, at which point it freezes forever until I press and hold in the power button to kill the supply.
The PC boots up fine afterwards
I thought it may have been some stray leftovers from Norton Internet Security 2007 which I uninstalled prior to installing ZASS, but have since run the Symantec uninstall tool and also have performed a complete HDD format and OS reinstall.
I even went as far as replacing my HDD s, and reinstalling the OS
I currently have ZASS version 7.0.462.000
Truevector engine version 7.0.462.000
Driver version 7.0.462.000
Anti-virus engine version 3 - DAT file version 943991190
Anti-spyware engine version 184.108.40.206 DAT file version 01.200802.3265
AntiSpam version 220.127.116.1103
My PC is pretty basic: P4 3.0GHz with 1.5G RAM with an 80GB HDD & 500GB HDD, ASUS A9550 Graphics and a couple of Pioneer DVD RW's
Software running: Win XP Home SP2, MS Office 2000 Pro, ZASS (as above), IE 7, Mozilla 18.104.22.168, MS Media Player 11, Adaware 2007 (free version)
As I have paid for a 2 year subscription, I would obviously like to sort out this problem, as there is something definitely wrong with ZASS.
Is there another version available, which will accept my Licence Number? Or is there other fixes for this.
Note I have already unchecked the Anti-Virus setting as suggested by some other users.
NB: I am new to the Forums, so please accept my apologies if there is not enough info here, but please ask...
