I'm a satisfied user of ZAP 6.1.744.001. I stayed with 6.1
because 6.5 caused
a True Vector error on my system, so I went back to 6.1.
I've tried version 7 of ZAPro when it came out, but it slowed my pc down to nearly a halt (average startup time was about 5 minutes!). I have a Pentium 4, 2.4G with 512 ram. My system is almost 5 yrs old now and has XP home SP2 (fully patched) on it.
My questions are:
<ul>[*]Is ZApro 6.1 still adequate enough
to fight off
todays threats?[*]Pro has antispyware built in, again same question: is
still adequate enough?[*]My current AV license (Sophos)
expires soon. Could I stay with ZApro 6.1 and combine it with ZA antivirus 7? Or do I have to 'downgrade' AV also to 6.1?[/list]
I would appreciate it if someone could answer my questions.
