For some reason over the last week or so, my laptop and desktop have started taking over 20 minutes to fully boot with disk activity going crazy and halting almost any other process from executing.
On my laptop I started reviewing the I/O read writes from the task manager and notice vsmon.exe reading and writing like crazy, when nothing else has had a chance to start.
So when I end this process, all of my other processes start like they should and it boots like it normally should.
I did noice that vsmon.exe starts again and does seem to cause to slow the system a little bit as well.
What can I do to stop this process from making my pcs from taking forever to startup?
