Default Running videos

I am running Windows XP
with Internet Explorer and ZA Internet Security Suite. I can
open both YouTube and ABC, but while the videos run in YouTube, they don't run in ABC. Is the problem with my ZA settings or my computer OS? Suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks, Dusty.

It is with your ZA Setting..
on the ZA XP Control Center
lower Left
is PRIVACY Section..
this Controls Your Access to Web-sites.. Click on Site-List and look for a listing for ABC
and turn off Cookie, Ad-Blocking and Mobil Codes for that site..

RESULT:

I DID GO TO THE PRIVACY SECTION AND I FOUND THE WEBSITE ON THE SITE-LIST. I UNCHECKED EVERY BOX I COULD FIND ACROSS THE BOARD! THE WEBSITE CAME UP BUT THE VIDEO STILL DID NOT WORK. IN OTHER WEBSITES, THE PROBLEM WAS THAT CLICKING ON THE DOWNLOAD BUTTON PRODUCED NO DOWNLOAD. ALL OF THESE PROBLEMS DISAPPEARED WHEN I CLOSED DOWN ZA. WHAT AM I MISSING?

Hi,

Welcome to the Forum!

I am very sorry that you are having issues with ZA and hopefully I will be able to help you find a solution.

PLEASE try the following, as this will bring the firewall back to the original settings.

I think is your Zone Alarm database has gotten corrupt and does not remember your Zones settings. Reset your database and see if that will fix it. Reset the database this way; you will lose your customizations and will need to reconfigure Zone Alarm.

MAKE SURE you remove ALL the backup.rdb and iamdb.rdb files.

Reset the database this way; you will lose your customizations and will need to reconfigure Zone Alarm.

1. Boot your computer into the Safe Mode.

2. Navigate to the c:\windows\internet logs folder.

3. Delete the backup.rdb and iamdb.rdb files in the folder.

4.Then empty the Recycle Bin.

5. Reboot into the normal mode.

How Do I Boot Into Safe Mode?
