Lightbulb ZA free vs. Perfect Disk 8/Raxco AND ACRONIS True Image Home 10

Product Name=FREE ZoneAlarm
Product Version=7.0 (downloaded / installed today)
Operating System:
Windows XP Pro
Description of technical Issue:

Perfect Disk 8 hangs while analyzing the disk. Only way to make it work again is to uninstall ZoneAlarm. Bad thing - I rely on ZA !!
Further ACRONIS hangs as well - bad thing again, only solution: uninstall ZA, backup, and reinstall ZA again !
-THIS IS NO FUN ANYMORE...- you have to reconfigure it every time you do this ... !!!
Yours, Gerald Sude

(Besides this complaint - ZA seemed to be good and reliable work to me - up to this problems !) /GS

It is Sometimes very Difficult to Diagnose and fix a Computer from halfway across the Country,
without All the Details, without the ability to sit in front of your Computer monitor and see what's going on..

1.) Perfect Disk 8 and Perfect Disk 2008 could still be causing the Problem.. Perfect Disk 8 is a Defrag Program, do you run it in Automatic Mode, so that it allway keeps your HD Defraged, or do you Keep Perfect Disk 8 shut down and Only Run It in Manual Mode.. ?

2.) I don't run Perfect Disk 8, But I do Run O&O Defrag, with ZoneAlarm and Acronis True Image Backup on 5 computers with no proble caused by ZoneAlarm or Acronis..

3.) However, When I run The Defrag in Active Automatic Mode, the Backup's that I make with Acronis are Corrupted, Unless I turn off the Defrag Program and Only Defrag in Manual Mode..
