Thread: add ons

    Default add ons

    I need some help on this problem, I started using Mozilla firefox browser, instead of IE7 because it was suppose to be safer. Now when I go back to IE7
    it says it is running with add ons diabled . How do I enable the add ons?


    People tell me just click on add ons but that doesnt
    work.

    Unfortunately the gpedit console is not available in the XP HE, only in the XP Pro editions.

    There are various registry hacks for the absence of the gpedit in the Home XP, since the gpedit console is absent in the HE, it does contain all of the registry needed keys.

    There are various hacks and tweaks for the missing gpedit, but probably one of the best I could find is a tool from Doug Knox (a great and well known MSVP).
