Thread: Blue screen

    Default Blue screen

    I have had a few "Blue Screens" recently and have checked the system log to see what was causing them. Next to the big red X was the file VSDATANT.sys and on searching the net I found that it is part of ZoneAlarm and has caused problems in the past. What is the problem, is there a fix for this or how can I prevent it from happening in the future.Looking forward to your replies,Barry

    I would suggest doing an uninstall of Zone Alarm and then a clean install of the current version of whatever product you have. Make sure you know your license keys, etc.
    Part of the uninstall has you delete a whole bunch of files individually, so it can be tedious to get through. Make sure to turn on the Windows firewall so you are protected while doing that also.
