Default Windows Security Alert Icon reports ZoneAlarm Pro Firewall NOT on

XP Pro
SP2, Windows Security Alert Icon in system tray always reports that ZoneAlarm Pro firewall is OFF.
Even thought it's up and working.
It's not a problem except I never know if there is a real alert.
Any thoughts?

usually this can be fixed by simply:1. Right click on the ZA icon near the clock and shutdown ZA2. Wait 2-3 minutes3. Start ZA from all programs --> ZoneAlarm --> ZoneAlarm Security--------------------------------------------------------

Why does ZASS have to be shut down and re-started?Would turning off the "start with windows" andaftr the computer settles down then start ZASS do the same thing?Alsothe programs page used to display on the
components tab all prodesses running, it no longer displays anything... even after a shutdown/restasrt.Thanks,Tom
