    Default vsmon freezes

Hi I have been having problems with my PC freezing.
First I thought it was an incomaptability between zone alarm and Registry Mechanic as I have to turn off zone alarm to allow Registry Mechanic
to terminate (although it has worked the computer freezes and needs reboot).
However I had the same problem today on Amazon site.First time vsmon was reported as not respondingOn restart I got "True vector internet monitor has **bleep** down etc.
These last few days I am getting many other temp freezes that seem like zone alarm.(IE they don't happen when its shut down).
    Can you help?

    Operating System:Windows XP Pro
    Software Version:8.0
    Product Name:ZoneAlarm Internet Security Suite

    Welcome to the Forum!

Have you tried to reset your settings?

Maybe there is a problem and your reset to default is not kept.

    This way:

1.) Hold down the Ctrl and Shift keys together
2.) Right click on the ZA icon near your clock
3.) Choose 'Reset' from the box that comes up
4.) Choose Yes on the Reset Settings dialog box
5.) When prompted, choose OK to restart your system
6.) Follow the on screen configuration prompts after reboot

PLEASE keep me posted on your results, Thanks.

I made the changes but I think I needed to change nothing.
Spybot search and Destroy also freezes when it has completed just like reg mechanic.
Not sure yet but it is possible that
Mionet freezes after updating my network drive; again the software works then freezes but Mionet is a bit buggy so that may be the reason not Zone Alarm.
