    Default Connect time

My computor was made for me & I use windows XP. It has an AMD Athlon XP 3000+ processor
Without your 15 day trial Zone Alarm Security Suite program, the computer boots up in 45 seconds.
With your fire wall program it boots up in 75 seconds and I am unable to use the computer for another three minutes, while it checks the e-mail & internet.
Is everything normal with this time frame?
If this is the normal procedure then I will not be purchasing this software.

    Operating System:Windows XP Home Edition
    Software Version:
    Product Name:ZoneAlarm Internet Security Suite

You can try this, but no guarantees:
Check the Registry for an incorrect entry:
    START/Run/ and type in: regedit
Click the Plus Sign (+) next to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE
Click the Plus Sign (+) next to System
Click the Plus Sign (+) next to CurrentControlSet
    LeftClick to Highlight Control
In the Right Side of the Window look for: (ab)WaiteToKillServiceTimeout
The Data Value should be 20000 not 200 or 2000
If the Data Value is not 20000 RightClick the (ab)WaiteToKillServiceTimeout and LeftClick Modify
Change the current Data Value to 20000 and Click OK
Scroll to the top of the Registry and LiftClick My Computer to Highlight it
From the Menu: LeftClick View then LeftClick Refresh
Exit the Registry and Reboot the Computer
Also, the computer exists an Low End Processor, Athlon Processors do not have the Power of High End Processors
such as an Pentium, if the computer exists less than 2 Gigabytes of RAM it is going to be slow.
