Default Google banners on some pages redirect to malware site?

    Happy sunday to all!

I was just surfing like normal, and suddenly my browser was redirected to a new page that opened up Adobe pdf viewer to a blank page. I jotted down the weblink (www.ta.......com; I will not post the whole link here as it apparently is malware), but a quick google showed only 3 links all from either today or yesterday.

Norton web security ranks that it downloads 2 "bloodhound" viruses.
AVG forums, 1-31-09, member stated that the page sounded off an ActiveX warning (here is the link for this: http://freeforum.avg.com/read.php?4,...136#msg-169136)
Random gaming forum, 2-01-09, member stated that the google banner on that site crashed his computer; he jotted down the link too and it matched up exactly same as mine.

Forcefield prompted a yellow warning since the website was made only 3 days ago (1-30-09).

Do you believe my computer is safe since Forcefield might have "contained" the infection? I'm just unsure because the google ad bar basically redirected my firefox browser to open up a .pdf file within the browser.

I didnt know google ads were capable of redirecting the computer, I do know of the dangers of clicking on ads though, which is tough to miss since they're on every site.

Let me know what u guys think.

    Operating System:
    Windows Vista Ultimate
    Software Version:
    8.0
    Product Name:
    ZoneAlarm Internet Security Suite
