Default Unwanted ZA Advertisement

Every time I start either mines or my wife's laptop, ZA displays
its advertisement to subscribe to internet security, which I always say no thanks; yet, it still comes back every single time I start up the machines.
It's really driving me crazy and getting on my nerves.
Both laptops are HP G60-235DX's running Vista Home Premium.
I also have ZA on my desktop (WINXP) with absolutely no problems at all; they are all the same latest version (ZA8).

I tried looking through the ZA help menu to see if there's any reference to the ads, but no joy.
It's probally something very simple that I'm overlooking, but I sure would appreciate any help in making the ads stop!

I'm sorry for the inconvenience to you by the Advertisement..However, You did choose to use the FREE product, and It cost a lot of Money in Man hours and production cost for Software Companies to produce and Upgrade Security software..So to offset the Cost, and afford to provide a Free Version of their Products, Most Developers, use one of Several methods to off-set that cost..1.) Provide a Trial version with a Built-in Drop Dead Shut off time limit, that forces you to Buy the product,, or2.) Produce a Trial Version that Reverts to a Limited Function Free version with Constant Popup Advertisements to entice the Free User to Try the Paid Version..3.) Do not offer any Free version at all..--------------------------------------------------------

Thanks for the clarification, but it's strange that I don't get the same ad prompt
on my desktop, which is running the same ZA version
on XP... why would they not occur there as well?MikeNorris
