Default ZoneAlarm Extreme Security is deleting my shortcuts

Since I installed ZAES 8.0.298.000, the URLs of my shortcuts have been disappearing. I renew the shortcuts, they work for a while, then for no reason, they disappear again. The link that is left in its place returns the error:
The target " "

of this Internet Shortcut is not valid. Go to the Internet Shortcut property sheet and make sure the target is correct.
I am using IE 7.0.6001.18000 on Vista Home Premium 6.00.6001 SP1
Sometimes, the same shortcuts disappear several times in a session, other times they are stable. It's very frustrating.

Hmmm.. I have ZAES 32-Bit installed on my Vista Ultimate and use IE7, and so Far ZAES has been running Fine for me,However, I agree with you, on a Few occations, on just a few of my Desktop shortcuts , the URL in the Shortcut disapears, and I get the same Error message,
"The target " "of this Internet Shortcut is not valid. Go to the Internet Shortcut property sheet and make sure the target is correct."I can Recreate the Shortcut and it will work ok, an a few days later some of the recreated shortcuts fail again,However about 90% of all my Shortcuts never have a problem.. ? FYI:I have just upgraded from IE7 to IE8 (full release) and I have encountered the same problem with the disappearing shortcuts.
I also had a chance to try Firefox 3.0.7 for several hours and I have had no issues with its shortcuts. The current Google Chrome
1.x as well as the new Beta 2.0.169.1 seem to work fine with ZAES.
