    Default Log Viewer [Stability Problem

    Log Viewer in this section the Alert Type (firewall, osfirewall, program) of speed change and crash, zonealarm itself closes...

    zonealarm v7 was more useful in this section.
    v7 events will be listed immediately but not v8
    to see the new event is required to change the alert type
    that list must be updated

    (Ensure you are on the latest version build 298)Hi!Sounds like your ZA database is corrupted, try to reset it.Are you running an Antivirus? If not, check for malware.Or are you running other overlapping security tools?To repair this problem, please follow the steps below. Please note that this will remove your program permission settings (so you may want to make
    note of them), but re-establishing them is a simple process.1.) Hold down the Ctrl and Shift keys together
    2.) Right click on the ZA icon near your clock
    3.) Choose 'Reset' from the box that comes up
    4.) Choose Yes on the Reset Settings dialog box
    5.) When prompted, choose OK to restart your system

    Hi

    im using zonealarm pro build 298, kav2009, zemana antilogger, spyware terminator but at the beginning of the system is only running zonealarm and spywareterminator.

    Dont do damage is reset?
    because the program control section many records
    am i to do it?

    Hi!yes, the database reset will reset all data.You have a lot of overlaps in terms of security. ZAPRO with Spyware terminator and Zemana.This may cause conflicts behind the scene and corruption (like now).If you want a faster and safer PC, ZAPRO and KAV 2009 are more than enough.Cheers,Fax

    ZoneAlarm has started crashing when I open Alerts and Logs. I am running ZoneAlarm Security Suite version 8.0.298.00 on Vista Business. I have checked for updates. I have reset and rebooted per the instructions below from fax.
