    what services need to be running for zone alarm to work correctly under windows xp sp2 other then the true vector internet monitor service. thanks tgh

    Non-Plug and Play Drivers (Legacy Drivers)
    KLIF
    ROOT\LEGACY_KLIF\0000
    srescan
    ROOT\LEGACY_SRESCAN\0000
    vsdatant
    ROOT\LEGACY_VSDATANT\0000
    Navigate to:
    START/Control Panel/Administrative Tools/Computer Management/Device Manager/ -then
    Click on View in the Tool Bar and Choose:
    Show hidden devices -then
    Click the Plus Sign (+) next to Non-Plug and Play Drivers -then Scroll Down the List
    In the Registry:
    HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Servic es\vsdatant
    HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Servic es\vsmon
    HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Enum\R oot\LEGACY_KLIF
    HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Enum\R oot\LEGACY_SRESCAN
    HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Enum\R oot\LEGACY_VSDATANT
    HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Enum\R oot\LEGACY_VSMON
    The above will also be Mirrored in CurrentControlSet002 and CurrentControlSet001

    Hi!KLIF is not the firewall but the AV system driver, not there in ZA firewall....and the rest mentionedaredrivers - sys/dll files...Cheers,Fax
