With ZA Extreme Security you are entitled to the free version of PC Tune-up (click on it in the main view screen and select it from the right hand menu if it's available) You get to download a basic version from the site it sends you to (and then it'll offer you to register which you do). The $9.95 is actually for the full version. I had the same problems as the original poster and wwas advice from the PC Tune-Up people to run as administrator and turn off AV/AS programs. In the end rather than do this I ran PC Tune-up in safe mode and it worked perfectly.Michael

Hi!welcome back, sounds likeZA does not like your system When links are not working it means your ZA is not installed correctly or you are running other conflicting tools on top of ZA or your system is corrupted and calls to Internet Explorer do not work. The procedure below should ensure that your ZA extreme is installed correctly (if you follow it all). If links still don't work after the procedure then it will mean that there is something else in the system that does not work. You don't give any information on your PC, so I will give you the instruction for VISTA... XP will be similar...Cheers,Fax----------------------------------------------------------First remove ZA from Start --> Control Panel --> Programs --> 'Unistall a program' (if there) then:01.) ZA does not play nice with many other security tools. They may block its correct functioning including updates. For example, spyware doctor, spysweeper, trojan hunter, win patrol, PCtools Threat Fire, Mcafee, Norton, Symantec, Adaware, SpybotS&D, WinPatrol, AVG, NOD, Kaspersky and manyothers. If you want to troubleshoot issues with ZA please remove these tools (not enough to disable) and install back (if you really need) only after you see your ZASS is working as it should.33.)
