Default unable to scan USB drive

When i right-click the USB drive or any of the folders/files on the USB drive the ZA scan command is greyed-out. Is it possible to scan the USB drive?

Zass not already scanning or updating. With USB drive connected, navigated to ZA antivirus/antispyware advanced options -> scan targets. Clicked floppy and removable drives + symbol to list drives, USB drive listed but box to its left has red X. Is this the problem and what does it mean?

Hi!"ZA antivirus/antispyware advanced options -> scan targets". This is something diffferent from what you described before, it is to exclude files from the 'on-demand' scanner. Yes there are Xs and it is normal. We were speaking about the right click. Does it work now?If not, your ZASS does not work correctly and you should try to reinstall it.Fax

ZA scan on right-click still greyed out, i thought maybe the red X on the drive (in scan target, advanced settings)might have been the cause... will try reinstall.
