My PC is now taking a very long time to boot up? I have done some research and using Autoruns.exe looked at the programs that are running at start. I have "tidied" these up and this does not appear to be the issue. I can sometimes log in and just have to wait for the program icon to appear. When this happens I can do a "CTRL ALT Del" and pull up the TaskMgr. I notice time delay appears to be occuring before any of "my programs" have loaded? It addition during this time the CPU is hardly being used and the memory usage is low? The System Idle Process is typically in the high 90's but I understand this is normal? As none of my programs have loaded (which I assume would include zone alarm) I am not sure if this is a ZA issue but thought I would check to see if anyone has come across anything similar?
