I am having a persistent problem with BSOD crashes using ZA. I have tried version 7.0.408.0 and 70.462.000 and the latest 8.0.298.035 all give the same results, crashes that over time corrupt the OS and force a re-install of the OS in order to get the OS going again. Some of the crashes are initially caused by my graphics card and game conflicts, but over time ZA is the sole cause of the BSOD crash. It seems that the crashes corrupt ZA and then corrupt the OS. When I turn off ZA and there seems to still be something running? Or at least something that still adds to the number of BSOD crashes. I have tested this by uninstalling ZA all together and the frequency BSOD crashes goes way down and they only happen when playing certain games, unlike the random crashes and start up/shut down crashes I get when ZA is installed.
Unfortunately Nvida cant seem to get their drivers correct, so I have had to roll back to the most stable version in order to solve those issues, the other system drivers are up to date or running well so I try not to fuss with them.
My Dxdiag shows no conflicts and I clean boot as much as possible for performance and stability. I have stress tested my processor and RAM and they are strong with no errors.
Is there something in ZA that is still running when it is shut down?
Is there anything I could disable in ZA to help resolve the problems of corrupting ZA and my OS without completely uninstalling ZA
