Default Network: IP 3.0.0.0 Internet Zone

I know I'm using an old Zone Alarm product, but I wonder if there is anyone out there who can tell me why the network with IP/site address of 3.0.0.0/255.255.255.255 is listed as a network detected? even more, I find out I cannot remove this network or even block it and it even shows when I'm not on the internet, I just want to know what it is and why it's listed in my firewall/zones networks list.
BTW it seems the IP Block is owned by General Electric - which is not one of my ISP's.
Thank you in advance for any help provided.

PinkDalek, This is just a suggestion.

    1. Go to Run type in command cmd, hit OK, and type ipconfig /all then press enter. In the returned data list will be a line DNS and DHCP Servers with the IP address(s) listed out to the side
    2. In ZA on your machine on the Firewall>Zones tab click Add and then select IP Address. Make sure the Zone is set to Trusted
    3. Click OK and then Apply for each one.
    4. The localhost or loopback must be listed as Trusted. It has the address of 127.0.0.1
5 The Generic Host Process or the svchost.exe listed in the Program list must have both Trusted and Internet access and it must have server rights for the Trusted Zone, but not the Internet Zone.

Lookup the following at http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/l.../bb490921.aspx and read and see what they do.

    ipconfig /flushdns
    ipconfig /release
    ipconfig /renew

    Hope this helps
