    Default Zone Alarm and Firefox?

Today I upgraded FIrefox to v 3.5.2. Firefox keeps crashing and as soon as I shut down Zone Alarm I am able to access Firefox. I have tried giving permissions in Zone ALarm to the program but that doesn't seem to help. Any ideas on what I can do to fix the problem?

Lightbulb Re: Zone Alarm and Firefox?

    Hi,

Don't know whether my experience has any bearing on this problem but once or twice a week I recieve an alert claiming that:

"Firefox is trying to unload KLIF Mini-filter"

As far as I can judge the KLIF Mini-filter is part of Kaspersky AV, and I always deny these requests with (seemingly) no harmful effects. It is a little disconcerting though to think that my browser is trying to mess with my PCs security.

My ZA scans are clean and I have scanned for any possible malware using Malwarebytes, rootkit scanners, and looked for hijacks with no apparent success.

I haven't heard of anyone else with this problem so far, but it just may have something to do with ZA not being fully compatible with Firefox 3.5.2.

I'd be interested to know if anyone else has seen this alert.

Hope that this helps in some way.....

    Cliff.

I also have the same problem since upgrading Firefox v 3.5.2. I am using Zone Alarm Extreme Security on Windows XP.
