    Default False Positive of Packed.Win32.black.d

ZoneAlarm reports the above "False Positive" when scanning the MarieSuite Anti-Spam (for The Bat! E-Mail client) product. I have reported the matter to MarieSuite and they have confirmed it as a False Positive, and instructed F-Secure and Kaspersey to fix the defect. They have no contact with ZoneLabs so I have reported it to them (they have not got back to me yet).

The URL below shows F-Secure and Kaspersey also reporting the False Positive. F-Secure have replied to MarieSuite to confirm they will update their database.

    Hi!
ZA uses the kaspersky engine. As soon as it is fixed in Kaspersky it is also fixed in ZA.

Many thanks Guru, I was not aware of this - I assumed they used their own code. I have passed this information on to MariSuite.

Received response from MarieSuite that the Kaspersky database had been corrected Fax. A check updates in ZA downloaded new definitions and the False Positive bug is indeed corrected. Thanks. Blue Skies....
