    Default The download ERROR of AV updates is BACK!!!

    Hello ZA Sufferers,

    Previously, the AV update process connected to the Limelight Networks IP, and if a user didn't have a broadband internet connection, when the Limelight connection timed out, the connection would be switched back to the original slower IP and the update process re-started. This worked fine to correct the last update problem back at the start of August when updates were first switched to Limelight Networks.

    Now, it looks as if the AV update is not switching to the slower IP, and the update is failing because the Limelight Networks IP connection is timing out.

    From the ZA forum reports, it appears that either: 1) the updates are turned off because of the new beta version, or 2) it is necessary to update to version 9.0. How about a definitive answer? Do you realize how long it takes to download 110Mb at 3.1Kb/sec? Updating to V.9.0 is not an easy chore, especially if there are potential problems.
