    Default Personal AV

    Virus Scan running ZA Extreme doesn't seem to get rid of Personal AV on infetced box--any suggestions?

    Here is the steps for removing Personal AV.

    1. Boot in safe mode. The way is :

    a. Restart.
    b. Repeatedly press F8.

    2. Choose Safe Mode With Networking.

    3. Open your browser.

    4. Download Malwarebytes and SUPERAntiSpyware at this link.

    A. Download update and scan with MBAM
    WARNING: Some malware will block the download of this software, rename the installer to a random name before saving and running
    B. Download. update and scan with superantispyware FREE
    WARNING: Some malware will block the download of this software, rename the installer to a random name before saving and running

    5. Install and update both.

    6. Scan with both.(Not in the same time but one after another)

    7. Delete everything they found.

    8. Restart your computer in Normal mode.(No need to press F8)
