    Default "bluescreen" with ZAXS 2010

I have exactly the same issue as DEAMAN, i.e., I successfully installed Extreme Security (after purchase) on a VISTA laptop and have failed repeatedly on an XP/Home SP3 destktop. After a reboot, the system becomes very cpu-bound and spirals to a "bluescreen" coredump. I have used methods on this forum to remove all vestiges of old security packages, redownloaded Extreme --- all to no avail.

However, just today, I read the minimum requirements for Extreme which calls for 1GB memory. My old DELL has only 768MB of memory. It would have been nice if I had been warned about the requirement when I was encouraged to try Extreme --- I had happily been using Internet Security for 2 years prior.

So - could the memory shortage be causing my prob?
Can I download Internet Security for the desktop and use the same license key that I received previously (3 PC license) and is working on my VISTA laptop?

    Hi!
tried also to boot the PC ONLY with ZA and standard OS services? This way:

    1.) Click Start -> Run
2.) Type MSConfig in the run box (or search box in VISTA) and click OK (ENTER in VISTA)
3.) Once in MSConfig, click the Startup Tab
4.) Remove the checks from everything except ZLClient
    5.) Click the Services Tab
6.) Place a check in "Hide All Microsoft Services"
7.) Now remove checks from everything other than TrueVector Internet
Monitor and ForceField (if present), and click OK.
    8.) Restart your computer

    How does it work?

NOTE: You can place your computer back into a normal startup process by
going back into msconfig and choosing the Normal Startup option on the
    General tab.

    Cheers,

I did not mention this in my original post but this test (posted in other locations on the forum) is one of the many things I have tried.

Running ONLY ZA Extreme produces the same result -- it seems to take a little longer but the result is the same. The only recovery is removal in SAFE MODE.

Can I download Internet Security and use my License key from my successful ZAXS install on the VISTA laptop?? I just want something that provides protection on the XP desktop -- the wife is migrating to the laptop anyway.

    Thanks
