    Default HELP - ZA9 & PowerDVD9: False positive!

Just updated to ZA ISS 9.0 and now it claims I have trojans in my Cyberlink PowerDVD9 program (CLDshowx.dll & clhelper.exe) I saw another post that these are confirmed false positives and in the mean time to add them as exceptions in the AV\Advanced.

Well I tried this (adding the files as excepted under scan and trusted) but ZA still does not buy that, I tried to add the whole folder and ZA says not valid path (I added anyway) as a matter of fact as I try to add them ZA comes up and says they are automatically quarantined if I start the program or not. The only way I can use power DVD is to shutdown ZA.

I have the same problem with PowerDVD 7 after running a critical update. Raised a support case but not heard anything yet. Will post when i get an update.

Support cannot do much... you need to report directly to Kaspersky the developer of the AV engine.

    See here:

    Not report, no fix

    Cheers,

Ditto, same problem. Two systems one with Power DVD 9 and 7 on the other both quarantine a LOW virus detection.

Amazing... users keep posting here but no one is actually reporting it.
Should I install a software I don't actually use to report the false positive?
